Quillstack provides documentation and developer-portal tooling for teams that ship APIs and platform products. The product generates and maintains reference documentation, hosts interactive developer portals, and keeps docs synchronized with the underlying APIs. Its users are product and developer-relations teams responsible for the external developer experience.

Acquired as a majority position in 2021, Quillstack is an earlier-stage holding serving around a thousand API teams with revenue in a modest band. Growth is measured against adoption among developer-facing companies, and retention is strong where the product becomes the system of record for a customer's public API surface.

As a smaller, recently acquired company, Quillstack consumes a lean subset—HR, Accounting, and IT—under the Core management-fee tier, keeping operating cost low while it scales. It operates alongside Forgewright in the developer-tools group, and the two are positioned as complementary parts of the engineering toolchain across the portfolio.

Forward focus is on deepening portal customization and integrating with sister developer and API infrastructure.
