Corestream Data

Pipeline and ingestion infrastructure for high-volume operational data.

Wholly owned Acquired 2018 Austin, TX

Corestream Data provides ingestion, transformation, and pipeline infrastructure for organizations moving high volumes of operational data between systems. Its customers are data platform and engineering teams that need reliable, observable movement of event and transactional data at scale. The product sits below the analytics layer, feeding warehouses, lakes, and downstream applications.

The company serves a base in the low thousands of technical teams, with usage-and-commitment pricing that produces a mix of contracted and consumption revenue. Net revenue retention runs in a favorable band as customers expand data volumes over time, and the company has built durable positions inside several large accounts where its pipelines are foundational. Growth tracks the underlying expansion of customer data estates.

Corestream was acquired in 2018 and is wholly owned. Its back office was integrated into AmTech HQ shared services, and it consumes HR, Accounting, Marketing, IT, and Legal under the Full management-fee tier. The company functions as the data backbone for several other portfolio holdings, which standardize ingestion patterns against its infrastructure rather than building duplicative pipelines internally.

Forward operating focus is on tighter integration with the portfolio's analytics and cloud holdings and on reducing operating cost through shared infrastructure.
